(27) Although Spaghetti Neapolitan, Not derived from Italy.. (Pancho in Akihabara, Tokyo)

1)
Spaghetti Neapolitan of PANCHO in Akihabara, Tokyo.
600 yen.

What is this Spaghetti Neapolitan?
It is nothing to do with Napoli in Italy.

This is a kind of spaghetti including bacon, carrot and bell pepper tasted with a lot of ketchup sauce.
When concept of spaghetti was imported to Japan at the first time more than a hundred year ago, a restaurant made imaginary spaghetti in his head.

The other day, ketchup sauce was a representative one as a Western taste.
When a cook ate it, it was delicious.

Then, this dish spread widely in Japan.

This spaghetti is far from Al Dente and so soft.
So, some Italian may not like it, but I believe almost all Japanese love this spaghetti because this taste is what all Japanese have experienced in their schooldays.

It is totally different from Italian spaghetti, it is a kind of Japanese spaghetti.

2) Seafood Spaghetti.
Shrimp, Squid, and shellfish.
