(20) Tonkotsu ramen of Konshin-ya in Ochanomizu, Tokyo

Tonkotsu (pork bone taste) ramen of Konshin-ya in Ochanomizu, Tokyo.

Too oily and too heavy...These are the very compliments for shops like this.

Tonkotsu ramen is one of the popular styles and characteristic for too much "umami" extracted from pork bone.

You will be able to enjoy the typical Tonkotsu taste here, but some foreigners say they cannot stand the flavor.
In this shop, you will get a free bowl of rice and they provide protocol about how to eat more rice deliciously with the remaining ramen soup and laver.
Be careful not to eat too much.
