(119) "Dashi in complete harmony" (ODEN of OWARI-YA in Kanda, Tokyo)

ODEN of OWARI-YA in Kanda, Tokyo.

Oden is one of the representative Japanese pot foods.

In a nutshell, foods are simmered in a big pot, flavored with soy-sauce and dashi.
**Dashi includes fish flake and dry seaweed.

The most typical foods are Japanese radish, fish sausage, boiled egg, konjac, and so on.
Usually, the restaurants (or bar) prepare their original ingredients, or they are not approved as a traditional bar.

This is a traditional restaurant, but very casual.

(118) Home in the Japanese Heart (Ramen of TOKI-OH in Kanda, Tokyo)

TOKI-OH in Kanda, Tokyo.

This ramen is the very standard taste for soy-sauce one.
They do never play the eccentric artist, and keep the golden mean.

I bet you can know the quintessence of Japanese food (or ramen).

1. Light soy-sauce taste
2. Trefoil does not serve only to enhance the char siu's or noodle's greatness.
Laver is also a good accompanist.

(117) Delicious food is not good for your health (Kanda-Ramen WAIZU in Kanda, Tokyo)

Kanda-Ramen WAIZU in Kanda, Tokyo.

Many people are always in a line in front of this ramen shop.
Since it seems famous and popular, I have wanted to eat it.

The taste is very rich, combined with soy-sauce and pork bone.
It is often called "Yokohama Ie" style.

It is also typical to put spinach and lavor in (on?) the soup.

(2) The second time.

(116) Unbivalent taste -light and heavy- (Men-ya TAKEICHI in Akihabara, Tokyo)

Men-ya TAKEICHI in Akihabara, Tokyo

(1) Ramen with soy-sauce taste, Chicken Bone.

The taste extracted from bone is generally rich, but compared with pork, chicken's taste is a little bit light.

And some people may have some issues with flavor of pork bone.

Chicken's scarcely has that characteristic flavor.
